We are recruiting for a Payments Team Leader to over see a team of 3 ensuring the day to day payments are actioned and completed in a fast an efficient times lines for the business
Responsibilities will include: -* Ensuring payments are sent accurately on time * Payment runs are processed in line with supplier terms * Ensure weekly sterling payment runs are generated and reviewed * Ensure foreign currency payment runs are generated and reviewed to ensure creditors are paid in a timely and accurate manner. * Processing direct debit and standing order * Responsible for the monthly review of aged balances and debit balances * Review of monthly Bank and Accounts Payable reconciliations to resolve any items aged over 30 days * Responsible for handling day to day operational matters * Ensure regular communication and updates with team in terms of 121, coaching, feedback and changes in procedures with in the business
The successful candidate will ideally have: Experience in reconciliation, managing and implementing control frameworks and performance management Be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision Be highly motivated Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Previous experience in Accounts Payable and foreign currency payments. Experience of PeopleSoft Financials would be highly advantageous
