• Due to the continued success and expansion of this already highly established Pension and Actuarial firm they are seeking a Senior Pension Consultant to join their firm and can be available to work hybrid from any of their National offices. The right candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of defined benefit pension scheme clients and bringing a high level of knowledge and experience to bear in developing those relationships.

  Duties will include:

  • Prepare and agree the meeting agenda with the client
  • Support schemes on their journey to buy-in/buy-out, get schemes transaction ready
  • Arrange meeting dates with the client and relevant team members and prepare electronic meeting packs
  • Regularly attend and present at client meetings
  • Prepare meeting packs, minutes and actions lists for review by other team members before sending to the client within agreed time frame.

The position will be to oversee an existing portfolio of clients providing day-to-day delivery of consultancy services relevant areas, advising on the implementation and maintenance of employee benefit plans. Reporting to the Consulting Lead – Health & Risk, the Consultant may also be required to assist the Client Relationship Manager, Senior Consultants in all aspects of service delivery ensuring long standing relationships with clients are maintained.

  Main Duties include:

  • Support with responses to tenders/proposals and pitch presentations as required.
  • Make presentations to groups of employees, to clients, senior management or for marketing purposes.

This position is a hybrid position, 2x days a week in the office which can be based in either the Bristol or Cheltenham Office.

  About the role:

  The successful candidate will support the Employer Consulting team who provides assistance to Line Manager, Consultants and Client Relationship Managers with administration tasks in relation to Defined Contributions, Group Risk and Healthcare arrangements. Administration tasks will include Group Risk and Healthcare claims and renewal, in addition to processing member data analysis, maintaining regular contact with clients by telephone, email and letter, checking and issuing financial statements to clients and attending client meetings.
