We’re looking for a Pensions Calculation Consultant to join our fast-growing sector, working on some of the largest pension risk transfer transactions. This is a role for someone who is proactive, technically adept, and eager to improve member outcomes while communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
As part of our Onboarding team, you’ll manage claims work, handle complex benefit structures, and provide specialised expertise to ensure the delivery of excellent customer outcomes. You’ll play a key role in enhancing processes, leading projects, and contributing to ongoing business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead and check individual Defined Benefits quotations and design non-standard communications for members and third-party intermediaries.
·Collaborate with the Team Manager to ensure administration and claims services are aligned with service-level agreements.
·Facilitate bulk transfers, valuations, and other related activities across teams.
·Lead projects aimed at process improvement and respond to legislative changes.
·Develop robust technical solutions for new and existing customers, collaborating with IT for implementation.
·Analyze feedback to ensure service expectations are met and provide solutions to improve performance.
·Support and train less experienced team members.
Qualifications
·Extensive experience with Defined Benefit pension schemes.
·Strong numeracy skills, with proven ability to solve technical and business problems.
·Knowledge of legislation, including GDPR, Money Laundering, Consumer Duty, and Complaints.
·Excellent customer service and communication skills.
