Alexander Lloyd have an exciting position for an experienced DB professional to join the Risk Transfer team of this highly established Pension and Actuarial firm. The main purpose of the role will be to establish DB strategy, the implementation of asset and liability de-risking projects and the settlement of liabilities through the arrangement of Bulk Purchase Annuities (BPAs). You will work closely with the Head of Risk Transefers and other project managers and be a key part of their remit will be to continually improve processes and advice to maximise credibility with clients and insurers.
The right candidate will have a solid working knowledge of DB pension schemes in the UK; and experience of BPA would be highly advantageous. Alexander Lloyd have proudly partnered with a very well respected Pension Third Party Administrator who are looking for a Pension Trustee Manager to join their extremely successful Client team in London.
This person would be responsible ensuring the effective operation of the trustee board of a large single DB scheme, giving this particular role an In House feel within a consultancy. You will be coordinating the primary board and its sub-committees, taking minutes and following through on agreed action points, delivering robust governance and risk management solutions. Managing the logistics of all trustee meetings, drafting and presenting agendas, meeting packs and papers, taking minutes and following through on action points, managing all governance documents etc. To be considered for this role you will need strong experience in DB governance and ideally some secretarial experience. If you have delivered In House Pension trustee secretarial operations, that is a bonus but not essential. This person would sit within the Client team which consists of 6 staff, they would be supported by more junior colleagues if and when needed but not have any line or people management responsibilities.
This position would be paying £50,000 – £60,000 plus 5% company bonus and benefits on top. This position would be hybrid in Central London, with you attending of the office 1.5 days per week in average or 75 days in office per year. They could be flexible however you would have to attend all trustee meetings in person, they generally have c16 per year in clusters of a couple of days per quarter, plus ad hoc meetings. Alexander Lloyd have proudly partnered with a market leading EBC who are looking for an Associate Healthcare Consultant to join their extremely successful Corporate Healthcare team. This team consists of 3 principal consultants and 4 senior consultants who all report into the Head of Healthcare.
This person would be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 10 mid corporate clients with a value of 100k per annum, ensuring the ongoing retention as well as maximising any new business opportunities through following up leads and cross / upselling existing clients. You would be supported by account managers who deal with any account administration such as renewals, reports, insurer quotations requests, ongoing admin etc. freeing you up to focus exclusively on client service. You would additionally be providing consultative support to 2 of the principal consultants across 8-10 of their key accounts, which is extremely good first-hand experience. This company are very strong on career progression and person development, in time you would hopefully progress into a consultant and senior consultant. Experience / Flat rated PMI is essential to be considered for this role.
This position would be paying £45,000 – £50,000 plus c10% discretionary bonus and benefits on top. The team would be primarily based in London however as several members of the team live further afield, they are open to considering candidates on a remote basis as well.
