This person would be essentially responsible for undertaking medical and financial investigations of income protection claims, to pay all valid claims and minimising the financial and reputational costs of improper claims. Presenting a cogent explanation of the decisions, ensuring that members understand the basis of favourable and unfavourable decisions. You would be regularly liaising with Head of Claims and Underwriting to identify and report back on regular trends relating to claim forms assessed.
They are willing to consider candidates with multiple levels of experience so whether you are an experienced Claims Assessor or you’ve never been in the industry, this could be opportunity for you.
