Alexander Lloyd have partnered with a bespoke insurance provider who are looking for a Claims Assessor to join their small and successful team in London.
This person would be essentially responsible for undertaking medical and financial investigations of income protection claims, to pay all valid claims and minimising the financial and reputational costs of improper claims. Presenting a cogent explanation of the decisions, ensuring that members understand the basis of favourable and unfavourable decisions. You would be regularly liaising with Head of Claims and Underwriting to identify and report back on regular trends relating to claim forms assessed.
They are willing to consider candidates with multiple levels of experience so whether you are an experienced Claims Assessor or you’ve never been in the industry, this could be opportunity for you. If you are interested however have no direct experience in this field, they will provide full and thorough training, they will also sponsor you through the relevant vocational qualifications.
This position is paying from £28,000 for entry level candidates and up to £45,000 for thoroughly experienced Income Protection Claims Assessors. This is an office based role situated in Central London however they offer the flexibility for you to have 60 days working from home per year.
