Up to £60,000 per annum, hybrid working, must be able commence employment in January 2026
Our client is seeking an experienced Indirect/ VAT Accountant to cover a period of maternity.
This role is a mixture of Tax Compliance and Advisory
– Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing and payment of indirect tax returns
– Maintenance of the VAT retail scheme
– Review VAT treatment of new products
– Monthly balance sheet accounts
The Person
– A professional tax or accounting qualification is preferred
– Indirect tax experience gained in medium – large business environment or professional practice

Would you like to work for a leading Pensions data & technology business and join them as a Pensions Analyst to support large-scale Pensions data and transformation projects. You’ll work directly with clients to analyse, cleanse and migrate data, design and test Pension calculations, and support key industry programmes such as GMP rectification and equalisation.
Analyse complex Pensions data using SQL and Excel
Deliver data mapping, migration and cleanse activities
Produce and test calculation specifications based on scheme rules
Present findings and recommendations to clients
Support quality, audit and compliance standards
Experience in a Pensions data focused role
Strong Pensions knowledge (legislation, terminology, calculations)
SQL, VBA and advanced Excel skills
Analytical mindset & ability to communicate complex findings
Senior Analyst: 4+ years experience + advanced technical depth
