  About the role;

  As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administration services to a portfolio of Pension Schemes, mainly Defined Benefits however may will include Defined Contribution schemes too. In addition, you will be responsible for the following;

  • Completing BAU Administration cases such as Joiners / Leavers, Bereavements, Divorces, Transfers In & Transfers, supporting on member enquiries
  • Assisting and processing calculations and payments of scheme benefits
  • Support in the delivery of project work such as scheme events and potentially GMP and Data exercises
  • Liaising with Stakeholders and confidently support on member enquires
  • Allocating and checking work of junior members of the team
  • Mentor, train and support junior members of the team where necessary

  DB Senior Pensions Administrator

They are looking for a Scheme Events Senior Associate to join their team, this person would be sitting within the Scheme Events team which consists of 4 staff being another Senior Associate, an associate which sits below and the Lead Associate slightly above.

  This person would be providing support for all types of activities within the team including benefit statements, pension increases, scheme valuations and other bulk processing exercises. You would also be working with the other teams in the implementation of new clients, system enhancements etc. and being a senior you would be responsible for training, supporting and supervising the Associate below you alongside the other Senior Associate. They are looking for someone with a strong background and proven experience in full defined benefit scheme administration and Scheme Events practices / projects. You would also have previously trained more junior colleagues and checked their work.

  This role can be flexible depending on your location.   A broad role, your duties will include, but not be limited to;

  • Monitor queries and disputes, ensure the appropriate escalation
  • Ensure that the debtors ledger contains minimal adjustments and where appropriate that overpayments or payments on account are properly returned, applied or cleared

  This role sits within a New Business team and the position would be responsible for providing administration and analytical support to consultants, having full ownership of new leads. Duties include scheme renewals and market reviews in line with clients’ requirements, managing client relationships in conjunction with the Consultancy team to support retention & growth opportunities etc.
