    • Lead the development of the people strategy and delivery plan, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
    • Actively partner with the ExCo to ensure a deep understanding of the strategic plan, using expertise and knowledge to identify the people interventions that enable , support and drive delivery needs of the business area and that people interventions are pragmatic and fit for purpose .
    • Work collaboratively with the HR CoEs to ensure the people interventions designed and delivered are timely, and support delivery of the business strategy.

    Ideally Level 7 CIPD qualified (or qualified by experience), the skills and job knowledge/experience are essential in this job are:

    • Proven experience as a Senior HRBP / HR Director in a highly operational, unionised organisation.
    • Commercially able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how to align the people plan to support the delivery of the strategic plan.
    • Highly data literate – confident to interrogate large / complex data sets to identify insights that drive people interventions that employee engagement and high performance.
    • Exposure to and understanding of, contracting and working in partnership with other HR CoEs to deliver core HR activities and services.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and effect influential working relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • An exciting new position has arisen for a Senior Pension Administrator to join a well-established mid-sized Pension Administration firm who have a number of nationwide offices.

    This is a Senior role within the Administration team where you will take on added responsibilities including dealing with complex cases, assisting with client meetings and presenting administration reports. This role can offer the right candidate a chance to become involved in some of the more interesting parts of the administration process and let you showcase your knowledge and expertise within the Pension Administration arena.

    The main responsibilities of the role will include:

    • You will be managing a portfolio of clients, preparing manual and computer-generated benefit calculations and related correspondence. You’ll be maintaining the member database; preparing computer generated benefit calculations and related correspondence.
    • You will carry out and check cash handling functions, liaising with the bank and investment managers as appropriate.
    • You will process and check client pensioner payrolls.
    • You will check work of other team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • You will take responsibility for monitoring the completion of the annual report and accounts within agreed timescales.
