Employee Benefits Technician

About Us:
An established Employee Benefits firm operating across the healthcare, risk, and pensions markets have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Benefits Technician to join their firm on a hybrid working basis.

Role Overview:
The role will be to join the Broking & Projects Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality services to clients across a wide range of industries. You will manage a large client book, including both commercial and corporate clients, ensuring smooth placement solutions for all employee benefits schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, including attending training, understanding deals, and managing strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with consultants to understand and deliver all broking requirements.
• Manage new business broking: research current schemes, prepare specifications, issue to market, negotiate with insurers, and oversee implementations.
• Manage renewal broking (as required): review current schemes, prepare specifications, issue to market, negotiate with insurers, and support renewals.
• Provide technical guidance on new business and renewal broking queries.
