Due to a period of extended growth, an award-winning Life and Pensions advisory business - one of the most respected names in the market - are currently looking for an experienced Governance Manager to join on a permanent basis. If you have proven experience of providing advisory services to a large business - as well as directly managing a team - that focuses on compliance/governance of Pension schemes then this is the ideal role for you!
To be successful with your application, you will need to have a high level of understanding of the UK Life and DC Pension market, which you will be required to bring to this role alongside excellent negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to identify commercial opportunities from legislative and other structural changes in the market place. Specifically, you will need to know the ins and outs in terms of scheme governance and adapting schemes and frameworks in line with market and regulatory changes.
In terms of personality attributes you will need to be confident, articulate and have the understanding of the importance of providing excellent client service. A track record of effectively managing a team from an operational standpoint is also essential.
This can be a role where you'd split your working time between home and the firm's South Western office.
