Procurement Support Analyst


This Procurement Team aspires to be "Best in Class" and the Procurement Support role will be expected to support this vision through the implementation of robust, leading edge systems and processes.

The role of Procurement Support is based at the Head Office which reports into the Procurement Operations Coordinator along with the Group Procurement buying team and forms part of the Group Procurement function.

This role will help run the Help Desk for Purchase to Pay system (Coupa).

Whilst the role is based in the UK the person will be responsible for supporting users based in Germany and Austria. Some travel to these countries maybe required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers the role holder will deliver excellent customer service to their markets and promote and support the Group Procurement function and strategic plan.
* In addition this person will be tasked to manage 'mass uploads' of changes to SAP data related to facilitate strategic supplier changes, and the related purchase info record changes resulting, with data provided by and as directed by the relevant NPI Buyer or Senior Buyer.
* The person will also be expected to support buyers implement electronic catalogues in Coupa.
* This person will be tasked with managing the creation of new Engineering Spares material master data for SAP connected sites, with the goal to standardize the way of working across the company.
* Complete ongoing administrative task related to maintaining Coupa and support buyers to add new catalogues to Coupa.
* Review and address idoc issues created by failed posting from Coupa to SAP.
* Train new starters on how to use Coupa whilst maintaining Coupa training guides.
* Mass uploads into SAP are executed in a timely fashion as agreed and aligned with the NPI Buyers.
* New material master data is created within agreed KPI.


* College Educated (A-levels or equivalent)
* Experience of SAP
* Experience of raising Purchase Orders and experience of training people on Purchase Order systems or other similar system based training.
* Able to write emails in a clear and succinct way with excellent MS Office skills (Advanced Excel /Word/Powerpoint)


* Degree (Business or IT related)
* Experience of using Coupa or other similar P2P systems with ability to extract and analyse data from systems using query or reporting functionality.
* Experience in presenting through WebEx and experience of SAP PM module.
