Great opportunity to join this leading Financial Services organisation based in Surrey. This friendly, busy, Procurement Team are looking for a Procurement Specialist contribute with the Indirect Procurement projects and manage contracts.
·Responsible for being the Procurement lead for a number of spend categories. ·Research and review spend, to drive best practice sourcing decision. ·Determine and plan Procurement activity for a range of concurrently running projects with a flexible approach. ·Perform analysis of spend data and other relevant data to identify opportunities for savings and business efficiencies. ·Pro-actively support and advise business users on recommended courses of action. ·Build and maintain a network of colleagues across the business and engage proactively with stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate strategies to improve business performance in respect of 3rd party suppliers. ·Collaboratively manage the end to end Procurement process ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders. ·Negotiate commercial terms of supplier contracts to ensure the most appropriate provisions are in place to meet the clients risk appetite. ·Contribute to, and in certain circumstances, take the lead and co-ordinate development of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) for supplier contracts to ensure inclusion of appropriate service standards and the repercussions of them not being met. ·Manage daily internal and external enquiries, supporting the business to adhere to the Procurement Policies and Procedures. ·Drive continuous improvement of adherence to Procurement processes and uphold high standards of conduct particularly in relation to business ethics.
If you have extensive experience in a Procurement role, preferably having worked across a range of indirect spend categories, then this role could be for you.
