An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pensions Officer to join an established in-house pension firm based in West Yorkshire. This is a rare and highly sort after opportunity to join an established pension team responsible for the full administration DB and DC schemes. Working closely with the Pension Manager you will provide technical advice, support and guidance for the Pensions officers and participate in exercise to improve performance standards to ensure good team performance.

Main duties of this role will include:
* Determine eligibility to, calculate and check benefits as part of a full pensions benefits service for members.
* Undertake staff training sessions for pension officers and other members of staff
* Provide advice and guidance to members of the scheme which affects them
* Deal with complex areas of pension work related to the provision on benefits, and liaising with managers and colleague to resolve and problems or issues.

The right candidate will have Pensions Technical experience (Implementation Desirable),as well as experience in Redesign of pensions Schemes and roll out processes and Strong knowledge of relevant legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Pension professional to move into an interesting and varied role where you can take the next step in your career and expand on your relevant pensions knowledge and experience.

To be successful in this position you will have previous experience of working within a pensions administration position with good knowledge of DB and/ or DC schemes and be able to confident and accurately deal with scheme member s via telephone, letters or face to face.
