Alexander Lloyd are supporting one of the most well known Insurance business within the UK, as they currently look to appoint a talented and strategic Procurement Business Partner to their newly restructured team within Surrey.
Reporting into the Procurement Director, your duties will include;
·Responsible for the IT Procurement function, across Software and Hardware, ensuring the business manages key spends and suppliers, whilst working strategically with key stakeholders in order to help the business achieve its goals
·Lead and manage a small team, maximising team performance, creating a culture of excellence, conducting appraisals, training and performance reviews
·Analysis of the category spend, producing insightful MI, presenting to senior management key findings and alternative solutions
·Working with the Procurement Director, devise carefully considered category plans, including supplier management
The ideal candidate will need to have IT Procurement experience (ideally software & hardware), with proven team management. You will be an articulate individual who thrives in working within a fast paced environment.
